WTE?? - What to eat??
I'd start with three tools I use: Yelp! Trip Advisor, and Instagram. I travel to South America often, and although food is delicious in Brazil, I have to make sure I stay on track when it comes to healthy eating. When you're traveling, it's so easy to over indulge in new foods, but hopefully, the following tips will help you.Use Yelp! and Trip Advisor
Find local eateries using these apps, read the reviews, and check out their menu. A lot of times during business travel, you have to stick to a schedule. Including where to eat in your schedule will help you save time, and you'll be more in control of what you're eating.Instagram Tags
I use Instagram a lot, and I found that searching for tags like "food," "healthy," "local," helped me find great places to eat that aren't typically highlighted on Yelp! or Trip Advisor. With Instagram, I have also found some good parks to go for a run or a walk while traveling.Buy local
I eat 6 meals a day, so that means when I travel I have to have food to snack on. I typically ask the hotel staff where the closest grocers are, then I go to Yelp! to check out reviews and what things they sell. I usually buy apples, oranges, protein bars, or other pre-cut fruits or vegetables I can keep with me or at my hotel room. Saves me time :)I hope all this helps you too! Comment below with your ideas and suggestions.
Cheers!
